I’m an Australian who is interested in Japanese and Anime in general. I studied Computer Science and Japanese at university, however I have now since graduated and am working at IBM.
Around that time, I applied for level 1 (the highest level) of the Japanese language proficiency test. Unfortunately I failed on my first attempt, however the following year, I managed to pass it with a reasonable result.
At the moment, I am interested in Computer programming, Martial arts (Karate, Jujitsu, Tai Chi), Tennis, Cooking, Japanese light novels and Anime.
Recently I have taken up an interest in Anime figures. In particular the type called garage kits which you have to assemble and paint yourself.
I actually have a blog in Japanese which I usually write in it to maintain my Japanese proficiency. You can check it out at: http://timkoh.info/jp
Thanks for spending the time reading my profile. <(_ _)>
I currently am doing some hobby translating at this link. I do Japanese to English and English to Japanese translations.
